Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years recent high-volume Labor and Delivery experience License: RN license (verification must be less than 30 days old) Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS certification - Active American Heart Association ACLS certification - Active Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification - Active NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification Must-Have: - Must be willing to obtain EFM Certification within 48 hours if offered - Must be willing to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered - COVID vaccination required; declinations not accepted Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies. It adheres to standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This role is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction. This position uses specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
