Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years recent high volume Labor Delivery experience License: Active RN license Certifications: - Active American Heart Association ACLS certification - Active American Heart Association BLS certification - Active Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification - Active NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification Must-Have: - Must be willing to obtain EFM Certification within 48 hours if offered - Must be willing to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered - COVID vaccine required; declinations not accepted Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies. This role involves adhering to the standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. The position holds accountability for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction. Specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills are utilized to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients. Candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be accepted and must be willing to work the facility's schedule. Previous travel experience is required. Candidates must provide a comprehensive skills checklist specific to the Labor & Delivery discipline. References from supervisors within the last 6 months and last 12 months are required.
