Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Labor and Delivery assignment in Richmond, Virginia. This night/day shift position (3x12-hour shifts) offers a weekly total of $2,025 and is ideal for nurses passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Provide care and support through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
- Monitor fetal heart tones, maternal vital signs, and labor progress
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergency interventions
- Administer medications and manage epidurals or Pitocin per physician orders
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active Virginia RN license (Compact license accepted)
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Fetal Monitoring Certification (AWHONN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Ability to work in high-stress situations and respond quickly to emergencies
