Unit Information: Labor & Delivery / (707)
Address: 501 E Hampden Ave, Englewood, CO 80113
Floor: 5th
Day Shift – (6RN’s to include 1 charge, 1 scrub tech)
Night Shift – (5RN’s to include 1 charge, 1 scrub tech)
Patient Ratios – 1:2, can fluctuate with acuity - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
Type of equipment – Client fetal monitor system
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience
: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Comfortable with unblocked/unepiduralized patients
Strong collaboration skills with physicians, midwives, and doulas
Cerclages, versions, c-sections, vaginal deliveries, D&C’s, care of fetal demise, epidurals.
Ability to care for both low risk and high risk obstetric patients
Strong teamwork, cheerful, collaborative, strong leader
