Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery
Monitor fetal heart rates and health during labor using intermediate fetal monitoring
Administer appropriate interventions in labor, delivery, and postpartum settings
Circulate in the operating room during cesarean sections and related procedures
Ensure patient safety through the effective use of medical equipment and EMR systems such as CPN (Centricity) and Meditech
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery
Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications
Experience as an O.R. Circulator
