Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,102 per week in Albuquerque, NM

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 3 years preferred License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS; AWHONN Intermediate; BLS; NRP (pending certifications okay) Must-Have: Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience Description: Seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for night shifts. This position offers options for 36 or 48 hours per week. First-time travelers are welcome. A minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred. The nurse is required to have ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP certifications. Weekend requirements include 4-6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. Scrubs will be provided. Patient ratios during the night shift are 2:1. Experience with antepartum care, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, and labor and delivery is preferred. The nurse will assist with high-risk deliveries, circulates for C-sections, and triage obstetrical patients. The unit manages 100-200 facility births per month. Ability to maintain central lines and provide care for neonates and adults is essential. Interdisciplinary support includes services such as respiratory, pharmacy, and phlebotomy. Travelers may float to like units as needed. A brief orientation will be provided for the unit.
