Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,102 per week in Albuquerque, NM

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years preferred License: Must have a current nursing license Certifications: ACLS AWHONN Intermediate BLS NRP (pending certifications accepted) Must-Have: - Previous charge experience: 2 years - Patient ratio experience: 2 Description: This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse on the night shift. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with the possibility of extended shifts. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The nurse will be responsible for managing antepartum, labor, and delivery patients. High-risk deliveries will require assistance from the nurse. The nurse will circulate during C-sections and recover patients post-surgery. Maintaining central lines, assisting with sterility during exams, and monitoring fetal heart rates are required. Workers will need to be comfortable with a patient ratio of 2 per nurse on duty during the night. Weekend requirements include 4-6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period. Scrubs will be provided for all nursing staff. Travelers may need to float to like units within their scope of practice based on facility needs.
