Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,123 per week in Richmond, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: At least 2 years of labor experience Description: General Comments: The unit has 24 beds and 71 staff members. The team includes day shift labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB techs, a secretary, leadership, and an educator. Night shift duties also include labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB techs, and a secretary. Patient Ratios: Labor is typically 1:1. Post-partum ratio is 5-6:1. Nursery ratio is also 5-6:1. Type of Equipment Used: GE fetal monitors EMR Meditech, CPN Desired Experience: 2+ years of labor experience is preferred. Experience in an LDRP with high birth volumes is a plus. Typical Procedures Performed: Vaginal deliveries C-sections Care for antepartum patients Newborn and post-partum care
