Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active Nursing License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: EPIC Experience Required Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend and holidays will be scheduled as needed. Floating to other units may be required. Candidate must have a minimum of one year of nursing experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The unit handles laboring patients with high acuity. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NRP. AWHONN Intermediate certification is preferred but not mandatory. The facility utilizes the Triton and SurgiCount systems. Patient ratios are typically 2:1. Additional responsibilities include administering medications and assisting with deliveries and C-sections. Nurses will work with various interdisciplinary teams for patient care support.
