Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,144 per week in Austin, TX

Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Labor and Delivery Specialty: RN Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS Provider certification, Neonatal Resuscitation certification, Advanced Life Support, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: BLS Provider certification from an accepted organization Registered Nurse Texas license Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics Advanced Life Support certification from an accepted organization Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Description: This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal care in a high-volume delivery service. An Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school or college of nursing is required. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service and S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification are also preferred. The facility is a Level IV Client Designation facility with comprehensive resources for high-risk pregnancies. This includes 20 labor, delivery, and recovery suites, 4 C-section suites, and specialized areas for triage and mother-baby care. The service performs over 500 deliveries per month and offers continuous in-house coverage by attending obstetricians, anesthesia personnel, and NICU staff. The position will be involved in a high-risk, fast-paced delivery environment with a perinatal transport program. There are plans to expand to a new Tower focused on women's health.
