Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,144 per week in Austin, TX

Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS Provider certification, Neonatal Resuscitation certification, Advanced Life Support Must-Have: Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification, 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery experience Description: Required credentialing includes BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. A Registered Nurse license is required. Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics is mandatory. Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required. Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification is a must. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service. S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is advantageous. Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification is preferred. The facility is recognized as a Level IV Client Designation facility. It consists of a diverse range of delivery suites, including low-intervention rooms and C-section suites. High-risk, fast-paced delivery services are provided, performing over 500 deliveries per month. In-house 24-hour coverage by attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU specialists is available.
