Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years preferred. Will accept 2 years with strong experience. License: Must have an active licensure in the required state. Certifications: C-EFM, BLS, NRP, STABLE. ACLS preferred. Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience preferred. - Scrub experience required. - Float required - Mother/baby and scrub rotation. - Call required - 2 shifts per 6-week schedule. - Every other weekend required. Description: Labor and Delivery RN orientation is biweekly. Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate. Experience with overseeing high-risk deliveries is preferred. Experience in assisting with vaginal deliveries and C-sections is required. Candidates must possess C-EFM certification required at the time of application. Candidates will be responsible for patient care in Labor and Delivery settings. Experience with a variety of procedures including Cesarean sections and postpartum care is essential. Candidates are expected to administer medications and monitor fetal heart rates. A thorough understanding of maternal and neonatal care is crucial. Compliance with safety and infection control protocols is mandatory. Excellent communication and teamwork skills will be essential in this role.
