Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,221 per week in Newport News, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Previous charge experience required - Epic charting system experience required - Specialty experience within the last year Description: The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit. You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with the healthcare team. Candidate must be able to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a labor and delivery setting is required, with a focus on recent practice. You may be requested to float based on unit needs. Certifications must be through the American Heart Association. Candidates are expected to keep requests for time off to a minimum during the assignment. A supervisory reference is required for consideration. You will participate in continuous education opportunities as part of the role.
