Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,236 per week in Brooklyn, MD

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred (3 years preferred). Charge experience preferred. Scrub experience preferred. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: C-EFM certification through NCC required at the time of submission. BLS certification required. NRP certification required. STABLE certification preferred. ACLS certification preferred. Must-Have: Experience providing care in a labor and delivery setting. Experience with Cerner charting system preferred. Experience with high-risk deliveries preferred. Ability to float to mother/baby unit preferred. Description: The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in the labor and delivery setting. The nurse will assist with high-risk deliveries and provide support for breastfeeding. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and performing sterile vaginal exams. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care. Flexibility to float to mother/baby unit as required. Call duties will be part of the schedule. Every other weekend and holiday shifts will be required. Candidates must be local within a 60-mile radius. The nurse should demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate care. Experience handling emergencies and providing education to patients and families is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary to coordinate care effectively. Candidates must possess a commitment to quality and patient safety.
