Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Nurse – Michigan

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Marshall, Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays; possible on-call coverage required

Highlights:

• Modern Birth Center with 11 LDRP rooms, 3 triage rooms, and 1 operating room
• RN to patient ratio: 1:1 for active labor, magnesium sulfate, and Pitocin induction; 1:3 couplets; 1:2 early labor patients
• Electronic Medical Records system: Cerner
• Comprehensive care environment supporting all phases of the birthing experience including labor, delivery, newborn care, and postpartum
• Opportunity to provide professional nursing care using critical thinking and independent clinical judgment
• Travel assignment with rotating weekend and holiday coverage

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN License required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required or willingness to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of current Birthing Center experience required
• Demonstrated experience with laboring patients, delivery (including newborn care at delivery), and postpartum care (mothers and babies) required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to specialty required
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Reliable personal vehicle required
