Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel- Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols; monitor side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred
- RN License in state of TX or compact
- Current certification from NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN Intermediate FHM
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
- Current NRP certification
