Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,277 per week in Attleboro, MA

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 Years Required License: MA License Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Charge experience preferred Description: L&D RN will work 3 shifts of 12 hours each. 2 years of experience is required. First-time travelers are screened for experience. Patients served range from neonates to adults. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The unit has 15 beds and follows inpatient rooming with infants. All infants will be accommodated in the same room with their mothers. A newborn nursery is available for infants requiring additional care. The medication system used is OMNICELL. Communication protocol follows SBAR. ACLS certification is required. AWHONN Advanced certification is preferred, while AWHONN Beginner is required. BLS and NRP certifications are also required. Charge experience is not required but preferred. Experience with certain skills such as amnioinfusion, antepartum care, and postpartum hemorrhage management is beneficial. The unit provides interdisciplinary support from various departments. The daily census in the unit is 8 patients. The number of visits per day and additional unit details are defined by unit protocols. Traveler must have a Massachusetts license in hand.
