Unit: L&D

Shift: 12-hour VARIABLE SHIFTS (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)

MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING BOTH DAYS AND NIGHTS

Floating Required: Yes

Scrub Color: Ceil Blue

Unit Specifics:

Common patient diagnosis: Obstetrics (ante-partum, intra-partum and post-partum), GYN, newborns

Specialty Equipment: OBIX (program that feeds info into Stork)

Patients: Any pregnant patient

Number of Beds in the Unit: 18- 3 Triage beds, 2 Antepartum beds, 2 ORs for c/sections, 3 Recovery beds, and 8 L&D beds.
