Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,288 per week in Asheville, NC

Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time position with day and night shift availability. Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity. Weekend and on-call shifts available upon approval.

Highlights:

• 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit serving as a regional referral center
• High-volume unit with comprehensive case mix including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and cesarean hysterectomy procedures
• Magnet-designated facility recognized nationally for nursing excellence and patient safety
• Electronic medical record system utilizing Cerner and Fetal Link with Phillips electronic fetal monitoring and Baxter pumps
• Collaborative team environment with charge nurses, PCTs, CSTs, and RNs on both day and night shifts
• Potential float opportunities to related units including Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Mother-Baby, and NICU

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or ability to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• High-risk obstetric experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS or ACLS certification required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Circulating experience preferred
