Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,290 per week in Battle Creek, MI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery, OB, and Mother/Baby License: Valid Michigan nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM Must-Have: - OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor and Delivery experience - Ability to work in all areas of LDRP - Willingness to float to other areas as needed - No request for time off (RTO) in the first two weeks of the contract Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will provide antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub nurse, and couplet care. Responsibilities also include performing lab draws and hearing screens on newborns. The nurse will work every other weekend and float to the house as needed. There is no on-call requirement for this position. The unit consists of a 15 bed LDRP area with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms. Patient ratios adhere to established guidelines. The RN will be trained to operate the hearing screening equipment for newborns as part of their duties. Preference will be given to candidates with scrub skills. The nurse will be expected to demonstrate skills in circulating and fetal monitoring triage. Compliance with flu vaccination policies is required.
