Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced, NRP Must-Have: - Experience in rural community hospitals - Experience with circulating or scrubbing in OR procedures Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The role requires a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services. The RN will work in a 295-bed acute care facility. The unit features 6 labor and delivery rooms, 5 outpatient rooms, and 2 operating rooms. Patient ratios are based on AWHONN guidelines. The equipment used includes GE Centricity and wireless fetal monitors. The electronic health record system utilized is Meditech/Centricity. The RN will be responsible for the care of patients in the Labor and Delivery unit. Weekend shifts will be required, with expectations of working 2 weekends per month. Call requirements are also part of the position. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
