Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,308 per week in Oklahoma City, OK

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, NRP/NALS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: Experience in Labor & Delivery for at least two years. Ability to scrub C-sections. Epic experience preferred. Description: Provide care in labor delivery, recovery, and mother-baby units. Manage patient care during labor and delivery. Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections. Support postpartum care and education for new mothers. Perform necessary assessments and interventions for mothers and newborns. Administer medications and manage IVs as needed. Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation in the charting system. Support breastfeeding and lactation education for new parents. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Facilitate the discharge process and educate families on newborn care. Demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
