Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,337 per week in Medford, OR

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years, 1st timers accepted License: Valid Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: Charge experience preferred, patient ratio experience required Description: The position involves providing care in a Labor and Delivery setting. Staff will float between units as per unit needs. On-call duty may be required for low census only. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Block scheduling is not required. The expected patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines. We are a short-term acute care facility serving patients over 36 weeks gestation. We provide level 1 maternity services and level 1 newborn care. There are designated operating rooms for C-sections on the unit. There is a surgical tech available in the unit. Responsibilities include full spectrum level 1 triage, antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care. The unit features two triage rooms and serves a diverse patient population. Additional interdisciplinary support is available from various specialties. Special requirements include recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, sterile vaginal exams, and triage of obstetrical patients. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities if required by the assignment. References covering previous work experience are required.
