Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,340 per week in Lafayette, IN

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 12 months Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have an IN-state license prior to start date Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM Must-Have: - Experience in labor and delivery - Ability to float as required Description: Position for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and FHM. In-state licenses and required certifications must be in hand before submission. Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Guaranteed hours are based on 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include managing labor, induction, scheduled and unscheduled C-sections, and triaging patients. Experience with various patient conditions, including hypertension and preeclampsia, is necessary. Candidates will float to different areas as needed. Knowledge of equipment such as epidural pumps, IV pumps, and fetal monitoring systems is essential. Compliance with staffing guidelines for patient ratios is required. Candidates should be familiar with the specified patient diagnoses and procedures. This position may include working with neonates and adult patients. Proper documentation and patient care practices must be followed.
