Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (3 shifts per week) Experience: 24 months of Labor Delivery experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: - BLS - AWHONN - NRP - ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - 24 months of Labor Delivery experience - Electronic fetal monitoring certificate - NRP certificate Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The position requires working 12-hour night shifts, three times a week. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in active labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and newborn nursery. The nurse is expected to maintain a 1:1 ratio for active labor and a 1:3-4 ratio for couplets. The unit averages 19-31 deliveries per month, with an annual total of around 300 deliveries. Candidates must have experience in nursery and mother-baby care, with postpartum experience being preferred. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. EPIC experience is required.
