Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,347 per week in Marshall, MI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years current birthing center experience License: Active Michigan License Certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience with laboring patients, delivery, and postpartum care Description: Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients using critical thinking and independent judgment. Utilizes all phases of the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for the direction and supervision of the nursing patient care team typically composed of CNAs, LPNs, and other techs. Collaborates with the team and other disciplines in the provision of care. Documents patient care, patient condition, reactions, and response to treatment in a timely manner and tracks patient progress. Travelers must reside within 50 miles of the facility. Requested time off during the course of the assignment must be noted. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. RN to patient ratio is 1:1 for active labor and specific treatments; 1:3 for couplets; and 1:2 for early labor patients. Familiarity with Cerner EMR is required. Supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years are necessary. Active certifications such as BLS and NRP are required. Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
