Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,353 per week in Issaquah, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Compact license required Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Epic experience required Experience in labor and delivery Ability to administer blood and blood products Experience with high-risk deliveries and sedation Description: This position involves providing care in a labor and delivery unit. You will assist with labor and preterm labor management. The unit has 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms. You will be responsible for circulating procedures, including C-sections. You will assist with GYN surgeries and couplet care. You will attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases. You will use specialized equipment and administer medications. Patient care requires a strong focus on safety and infection control. The staffing ratio in the unit is 1:1 to 1:3. You may be required to float to other units based on skill set. This position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will be expected to participate in patient education and discharge planning. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential. You must be flexible and willing to work holidays as required.
