Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced NRP, Client Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - Level IV trained Labor and Delivery nurse - Familiarity with Magnesium and insulin drips - Advanced external fetal monitoring experience - Ability to float to other locations if needed Description: This position is for a Level IV brand-new Women & Infants Client. We are seeking a Level IV trained Labor and Delivery nurse. The unit includes a 15 bed Labor and Delivery area, a 20 bed High-Risk Unit, and an 8 bed OB Triage. Nurses will adhere to AWHONN guidelines, maintaining a ratio of 1:1 in active labor and two patients in early, latent labor. Responsibilities include serving as charge nurse in both Labor and Delivery and the high-risk unit, as well as a baby nurse for deliveries. The position requires a commitment to working, with no tolerance for calling in. Scheduled hours are 36 hours per week, with every third weekend and holiday rotation.
