Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,375 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: Travel RN - L&D Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care hospital Labor and Delivery License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or AWHONN Must-Have: Candidates must possess current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or AWHONN certifications. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery experience. Description: We are seeking a Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery. The unit has 29 beds, 4 operating rooms, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms. There are 148 staff members on the unit. The day shift consists of 22 RNs and 2-3 CSTs, along with 1 Charge and 1 Flex nurse. The night shift consists of 20 RNs, 1-2 CSTs, 1 Charge, and 1 Flex nurse. Patient ratios are 2:1. The unit utilizes Centricity and GE monitors. The EMR system used is Meditech/CPN. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently while supporting fellow teammates. Common procedures performed on the unit include vaginal and cesarean deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and external cephalic version. Experience in high-risk OB is preferred.
