TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Pella, Iowa, 50219!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred License: Current Registration and Licensure as a Registered Nurse Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have: Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Description: Collaborates with the health care team using evidence-based practice. Demonstrates accountability and respect for patients, families, and coworkers while providing safe and optimal patient outcomes. Promotes continuity of care by communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team and family as appropriate. Directs the work of support staff in the provision of care. Performs general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision. Able to work with age-specific populations according to the setting. Assessments include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred. Must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing. New employees certify within three months after hire date. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Possesses high degree of empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness toward others. Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team. Possesses basic computer knowledge. Technical and critical thinking skills in relation to sound nursing judgment. Knowledge of nursing practices as they relate to acute care.
