Candidates must have 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Description: This is a seasonal contract position for an RN in Labor and Delivery. The position is for 13 weeks with a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role includes rotating weekends and has no call requirements. The unit has 32 beds and a staffing ratio of 1:2. The staff consists of a charge nurse and co-charge nurse on each shift, alongside RNs. Equipment used includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound. Candidates will be considered favorably if they have internal monitor placement competency and experience in a high-volume unit. Typical procedures performed include SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC. Ideal candidates will be team players with a positive attitude. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs, with no t-shirts acceptable; only solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts are permitted. Candidates must adhere to the unit's attendance policy.
