Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,393 per week in Austin, TX

Job Title: Seasonal-Contract RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Candidates must possess the following skills to be considered for the role: EFM ACLS BLS NRP SVE competency C-Section circulation 2+ years nursing experience in Labor and Delivery Description: This position is for a seasonal contract RN in Labor and Delivery. The RN will work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Shifts will rotate on weekends. There are no call requirements. Unit has 32 beds and a staff of 150. Patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:2. The team consists of a charge nurse and co-charge nurse on each shift. RNs will be expected to accommodate patient care based on the established ratios. Typical procedures performed on the unit include SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC. A positive attitude and a team player mentality are essential for this role. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs, and T-shirts are not acceptable; only solid blue, black, or gray sweatshirts are permitted. Candidates with experience in a Level IV unit or those with internal monitor placement competency are preferred. The unit follows strict attendance policies.
