Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
- Perform fetal heart rate monitoring and interpret EFM strips.
- Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Educate patients and families throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process.
- Accurately document patient care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
