Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery- IV insertion and lab draws
- Administer blood and nitrous oxide
- Facilitate vaginal exams and setup delivery tables
- Provide antepartum triage
- Assist with epidural placement
- Facilitate ECV, C/S, and vaginal deliveries
- Collaborative approach within a team
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery- RN licensure
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Labor and delivery experience
- Proficiency in strip interpretation
- Knowledge of common OB medications
- Circulator experience in C/S and PACU recovery for spinal anesthesia
