Experience: Minimum of 24 months Labor & Delivery experience within the last 12 months
License: Active state license to practice
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AFM
Must-Have:
Candidates must have life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
Candidates must have no hits on state license to practice.
Candidates must provide a driver's license to verify residency.
Description:
This position requires proficiency in various skills to provide quality care in Labor & Delivery.
Candidates will be required to perform triage, couplet care for mothers and babies postpartum, and circulate OR cases.
Ability to catch babies or perform baby admissions is preferred.
Candidates must be willing to work weekends, holidays, float as needed, and be available for call as per department guidelines.
Candidates must be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments to expedite the process.
RTO (requests for time off) cannot exceed 7 days and no RTO is allowed during the first week of assignment.
All candidates submitted must be pre-closed and ready to accept the position.
Adherence to background check standards is strictly required.
Complete documentation of all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designations, and number of beds is necessary.
Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP must be provided.
A skills checklist must be completed within the last 12 months.
Candidates should possess travel experience, which is highly preferred.
