Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,418 per week in Aurora, CO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour or Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year Labor and Delivery experience required; previous travel experience preferred License: Current RN license required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: - 1 year Labor and Delivery experience - NRP, AHA BLS, ACLS certifications required - Ability to float within the Women and Infant unit per facility needs Description: Travelers may be required to float within the metro region based on facility needs. 10 RTO days maximum approved per 13-week contract. RTO is not allowed during specific busy time periods. Weekend shifts are required based on unit needs. Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 2 patients. Previous charge experience is preferred. Charting experience with Epic is preferred. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support such as Physical Therapy, Radiology, and Social Services. Travelers are responsible for completing all facility-specific modules within the first week of assignment. Critical skills include administration of medications, support during labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Strong knowledge of fetal monitoring and assessment is required. Ability to perform specific procedures such as amniocentesis, C-section circulation, and neonatal care is essential. Must demonstrate effective communication skills and teamwork within a dynamic healthcare environment.
