Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,436 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid State License required; Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRPS Must-Have: High Risk OB experience; ability to float to areas of need between labor, mother baby, and antepartum. Description: The position requires a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery. RNs will float between units based on unit needs. On-call is required for days scheduled if cancelled. Weekends are required every other weekend. There are no block schedules. Expect a patient ratio of 1:1. Special requirements include experience with high risk obstetrics and floating to mother baby units. Daily census is approximately 200 births per month. Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. The facility has 43 beds and requires floating to meet patient care needs. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays. References are required covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may impact employment and guaranteed hours. Candidates are expected to respond to references and other requirements during the compliance process.
