Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,437 per week in Polson, MT

Job Opportunity – LDRP Registered Nurse – Montana

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Montana

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation distributed equally among staff. Block schedules not required. Holiday commitment required (minimum 3 of 5 major winter holidays). Limited on-call (maximum once per pay period with 30-minute callback time). One pre-approved time-off request permitted. Reduced orientation at 24 hours versus standard 40 hours.

Highlights:

• Comprehensive LDRP role in a 22-bed critical access hospital caring for patients through triage, labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on acuity and unit census
• Epic charting system with wireless fetal monitoring and advanced equipment including JADA devices for postpartum hemorrhage management
• Minimal floating requirements (support tasks only when no labor patients; no patient assignments in other areas)
• Collaborative interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams
• Average daily census of 2 patients across 3 rooms with ability to circulate for cesarean sections

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; seasoned travelers preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Active Compact nursing license (must be in hand at submission)
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP required; CLC and STABLE preferred
• Clinical skills: Labor and Delivery, LDRP, sterile vaginal exam, triage of obstetrical patients, and ability to circulate for cesarean sections
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
