TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience required License: Active compact license required Certifications: Required: BLS, NRP Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: Candidates must have current supervisory references. Candidates must have proof of required certifications with submission. Candidates must pass clinical review. Candidates must have experience in high acuity and high pace environments. Candidates must be able to circulate and provide newborn care, including assessments and injections. Description: Local candidates are considered at the same rate. Permanent candidates from any other facility are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All facilities honor active compact licenses. Candidates with less than the required experience will not be considered. Candidates must have high risk experience and be able to work in fast-paced, high acuity environments. First-timers are accepted. Pre-approved time off will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Candidates may be required to float to sister facilities. Experience with electronic fetal monitoring is required. Candidates must function as a Baby Nurse during deliveries and provide care until transfer to postpartum. The average daily census is 15 patients, with approximately 500-600 deliveries per month. Staffing follows established guidelines, ensuring compliance with patient care standards. Candidates should have experience with high-risk obstetrical patients and be skilled in a variety of medical procedures. References from previous supervisors or charge nurses are required. Candidates may be required to float between nearby facilities, and refusal to do so may impact their assignment. Candidates will be provided with communication devices necessary for job performance. Modules are non-billable and must be completed pre-start and annually.
