Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,358 per week in White Plains, NY

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 7 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 34.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Must-Have: BSN required Description: FLU vaccine required – no exceptions or exemptions. Unit has 14 beds, including 5 triage/inpatient beds, 6 labor beds, and 2 OR beds. Charge Nurse responsibilities include leadership without taking patients. Nurse aides and scrub techs are available. Weekend requirement is every third weekend for days, with 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week period. Night shift weekends are Friday and Saturday. In-house hospitalist or intensivist coverage is available 3 nights a week. IV team and pharmacy support are available 24/7. Shifts may include floating to OB or nursery without patient assignments. Floor-specific orientation consists of 2-3 shifts. Nurses conduct their own exams and full assessments. Experience with high-risk patients is necessary, as well as the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be customer service-oriented with a focus on patient care and teamwork. Charting system used is EPIC. Additional skills and experience in patient assignments should be discussed during the interview process.
