Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,457 per week in Dallas, TX

Job Opportunity – RN Labor & Delivery – Texas

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Dallas, Texas

Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 36 hours guaranteed weekly; weekend and rotating shifts; call requirements to be discussed during interview

Highlights:

• High-risk, high-volume Labor and Delivery unit in a dedicated Women's Hospital with 24 beds
• AWHONN-compliant staffing ratios maintained approximately 80% of the time (cervical ripening 2:1, triage 3:1, active labor/pit 1:1, stable PP mag 2:1, early labor 2:1)
• Experience with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C procedures, and high-acuity post-delivery recovery care
• Documentation systems include Meditech and CPN; unit utilizes GE fetal monitors
• 13-week travel assignment with float requirements to antepartum unit as needed
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of high-risk obstetrical bedside experience required
• Experience with high-risk labor and delivery, circulating in cesarean sections, and recovering high-acuity patients
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Strong background in managing laboring patients on Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and other high-risk scenarios
• Adherence to professional dress code including scrubs, nail policy (no artificial nails), and appearance standards
