Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,459 per week in Brooklyn, MD

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred. License: Must hold a valid nursing license. Certifications: C-EFM, BLS, NRP, STABLE, ACLS preferred. Must-Have: C-EFM credential in hand at the time of submission. Experience with Cerner charting system preferred. Experience in postpartum care preferred. Travel experience is required. Description: We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with experience in maternal care. The nurse will provide care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients, interpreting fetal heart rate patterns, and responding to emergencies during labor and delivery. Administer medications and therapies as prescribed. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding labor and newborn care. Assist with high-risk deliveries and perform essential assessments postpartum. The role includes participation in on-call shifts. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable floating between mother/baby units as needed. This position involves a commitment to quality care and maintaining patient safety. Experience in charge roles is preferred. Scrub experience is preferred for assisting with Cesarean deliveries. Regularly communicate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
