Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of strong experience preferred License: Must hold current and valid nursing license Certifications: C-EFM, BLS, NRP, STABLE, ACLS preferred Must-Have: C-EFM certification required at the time of submittal Strong labor and delivery experience Scrub experience preferred Charge experience preferred Cerner experience preferred Description: We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The position involves providing care to patients during labor and delivery. Candidates should have experience in high-risk deliveries and be comfortable supporting breastfeeding. The role requires administering medications, conducting assessments, and monitoring fetal heart patterns. Nurses will assist in vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as needed. The position requires a willingness to float to mother/baby and scrub areas when necessary. Call and weekend shifts will be part of the schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of patient diagnoses including hypertensive disorders and gestational diabetes. Strong communication and collaboration skills will be essential for working within an interdisciplinary team. The candidate must be able to provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the delivery process.
