Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,465 per week in Minneapolis, MN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery with postpartum experience License: Required Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Sterile vaginal exam experience required. Fetal monitoring skills/experience including use of external and internal fetal monitoring, and IUPC placement and calibration. Experience administering Pitocin (oxytocin). Experience managing and administering epidural anesthesia. Description: Position in a Mother Baby Center. RNs will work in both labor and postpartum settings. Average daily census includes approximately 8 deliveries and 15 postpartum patients. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery with postpartum experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekends will be required, working every other weekend. There is no on-call requirement. Floating may occur as needed within scope. Candidates must be open to accommodating scheduling needs. Only candidates outside a 100-mile radius will be considered. Pending licenses are accepted. Restrictions on requested time off ideally limit it to no more than 5 days. The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time without penalty. Daily census includes labor and postpartum patients. Unit comprises of a 13-bed L&D unit, with additional postpartum and triage rooms. Interdisciplinary support includes various medical services and teams. Patient demographics include neonates and adults. Staffing ratio for night shifts is 3-4 patients. Candidates must meet compliance requirements, including background checks and references.
