Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,469 per week in Richmond, VA

# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / Maternal Infant Care – Virginia**Start Date:** June 22, 2026**Location:** Richmond, Virginia**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** 12-hour shifts with every third weekend rotation; 12 hours of call per 4-week schedule**Highlights:**- 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit specializing in labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care- Labor patient ratio 1:1 (typical), postpartum and nursery 5-6:1- Perform vaginal deliveries, support C-sections, and provide care for antepartum, postpartum, and newborn patients- LDRP environment with high birth volume offering robust clinical experience- EMR systems include Meditech and CPN; GE fetal monitoring equipment- Collaborative team of 71+ staff including labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB techs, and leadership support**Requirements:**- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience required- Active RN license in Virginia (or compact state licensure)- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required- Experience in LDRP settings with high birth volumes strongly preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic maternal infant care environment where you'll be part of a dedicated team committed to supporting families during one of life's most meaningful moments.
