Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,476 per week in Issaquah, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 Years Required License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Epic Experience Required Description: Candidates must have 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. Experience in Epic charting system is required. The role involves attending all deliveries and high-risk deliveries. Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections and assisting with high-risk deliveries. Nurses will administer blood and blood products, anticoagulation therapy, and antihypertensives. They will also manage epidural anesthesia and perform sterile vaginal exams. A staffing ratio of 1:1-3 is expected. Travelers may float between facilities based on skill set. Patients will include adolescents, infants, and adults. Special procedures include the use of cooling/warming blankets, drains, and insulin drips. Nurses will provide couplet care and low-risk antepartum care. Additional responsibilities include pain assessment and management, managing insulin drips, and maintaining central lines. Competency in wound assessment and care is also required. Nurses may have an average of 200-300 facility births per month.
