Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,488 per week in Dubuque, IA

Candidate must have experience with medication administration for glucose, magnesium, pitocin, and insulin. Candidate must have travel experience within the last 15 months. Candidate must have EPIC experience. Candidate must provide an NRP certificate. Candidate must provide Intermediate or Advanced EFM/electronic fetal monitoring certificate. Candidate must provide STABLE certificate. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will work in a maternity unit that includes a 16-bed maternity area, a 12-bed nursery, a 4-bed NICU, and a C-section suite. The nurse will provide care for patients that include antepartum, mother-baby, newborn, and obstetric/gynecological patients, as well as NICU patients. The typical delivery volume is 50-60 births per month. Ratios include 1:1 for labor, 1:2 for postpartum, and 2:1 for the NICU. The nurse will be responsible for administering drips such as glucose, magnesium, pitocin, and insulin. A holiday rotation is required, with expectations to work 1-2 of the three upcoming summer holidays. No local candidates within 90 miles will be considered. Floating between units is not required. The nurse is expected to adhere to policies regarding employee separation and performance evaluations. Candidates must have appropriate documentation for all required certifications and licenses.
