Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,489 per week in Midland, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Charting system experience preferred - Experience with high-risk deliveries Description: Start date within the next 4-6 weeks preferred. RN will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition. No postpartum care will be provided. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Skills needed include administration of blood products and monitoring fetal heart rates. Experience with high-risk antepartum care is essential. Assistance with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections is required. The facility handles approximately 200-300 births per month. Nurses must be comfortable with various procedures, including IV management and pain assessments. Daily census fluctuates, with an average of 20 patient visits each day. Candidates should expect to work some holidays. An on-site drug screen will be conducted prior to employment.
