Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2-3 years preferred License: Required Certifications: C-EFM, BLS, NRP, STABLE; ACLS preferred Must-Have: C-EFM certification in hand at the time of submittal Experience in Labor and Delivery Experience with Scrub and Charge preferred Cerner experience preferred Description: Seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. Start date available on multiple dates. C-EFM certification through NCC is required at the time of submittal. Local candidates are accepted within a specified radius. Certifications required include BLS, NRP, and STABLE. 3 years of experience is preferred, but 2 years with strong experience will be considered. Scrub experience is preferred. Charge experience is a plus. Cerner experience is preferred. Float required between Mother/Baby and Scrub. Call is required for 2 shifts per 6-week schedule. Every other weekend is required. Candidates must be comfortable with a patient ratio of 2. Staffing is supported by various interdisciplinary teams. Unit handles a range of patient diagnoses including hypertensive disorders and maternal substance use disorder. Candidates will be responsible for a variety of nursing skills including administering medications and supporting high-risk deliveries. Experience with a variety of obstetrical procedures is essential. Nurses must hold current certifications as a hard stop. Candidates must provide two supervisory references to support their experience. No requested time off is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. RTO cannot be changed after submission for review. Candidates must be prepared to complete required modules and compliance requirements before starting.
