Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,512 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: RN - L&D Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or AWHONN Must-Have: - Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience - BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or AWHONN Description: This is a seasonal travel position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The selected candidate will work in a unit equipped with 29 beds, 4 operating rooms, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms. The unit has a total of 148 staff members. There are 22 RN staff members on the day shift and 20 on the night shift, with designated charge and flex positions. Patient ratios are 2:1. Candidates should be familiar with Centricity and GE monitors, and have experience with the Meditech/CPN Electronic Medical Record system. Typical procedures performed in this unit include vaginal and cesarean deliveries, dilation and curettage, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions. Experience in high-risk obstetrics is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of working independently while also supporting fellow team members. This role offers an opportunity to work with experienced staff and utilize new equipment and technology. Applicants with PACU and OR experience will be prioritized during the selection process.
